'Blue gate' is a reference to the time I have spent in Ghana throughout my life. During one of my walks, I encountered a seamstress and her small children who were pestering each other. They paused to allow me to take their photo. Their innocence inspired me to capture the moment. It draws attention to the simplicity of life in Africa and an appreciation of going back to basics.
